Issue:
Where can I find a copy of the IIDC 1394-based Digital Camera (DCAM) Specification?
Solution:
As a general rule, PGR IEEE-1394 cameras conform to the IIDC 1394-based Digital Camera Specification. However, due to copyright issues Point Grey Research is unable to distribute any versions (e.g. 1.04, 1.30, 1.31, etc.) of the IIDC 1394 DCAM specification. Users interested in obtaining a copy can either contact the 1394 Trade association at http://www.1394ta.org/, or download them free of charge from http://damien.douxchamps.net/ieee1394/libdc1394/iidc_specifications.php.
In addition, PGR Imaging Product owners can download the PGR IEEE-1394 Digital Camera Register Reference from our downloads section. This manual attempts to provide the user with a detailed specification of the various features, formats, modes, frame rates, control parameters, and registers implemented by each PGR Imaging Product.
